The goal of Under One Roof is to manage donations and allocate funds to local non-profits, ensuring immediate, effective support for those facing housing insecurity. Through results-driven residential work programs, mentorship, job placement, and comprehensive supportive services, these organizations equip our most vulnerable neighbors with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.

Through the generosity of early supporters, Under One Roof has already made significant strides by partnering with organizations including Golden Isles Veterans Village, as they complete the build-out of 29 new homes and a community center, and Saved By Grace, as they plan the expansion of their highly successful residential work program.

Saved By Grace

Saved by Grace (SBG) has established a remarkable track record of helping those in our community who
are experiencing the unique hardship of housing insecurity. Through its accountability-driven residential work program, participants achieve stable, permanent housing, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness in transforming lives and fostering lasting stability.

To date, over 100 individuals have successfully graduated from the Saved by Grace program,
a testament to its profound impact. To become a resident of Saved by Grace, participants must pass background checks, maintain consistent employment, take part in regular supportive services
and screenings, and abide by a curfew until graduating.

Throughout his journey, George left a lasting impact on the SBG community, not only through his efforts but also by sharing his musical talents, often playing his guitar for others to enjoy.

This marks the beginning of a promising new chapter for George, and his success exemplifies the kind of meaningful support that can help prevent chronic homelessness.

His dedication and drive led to his appointment as House Manager for Saved by Grace in December 2022, a role he held until his recent move to independent living.

Approximately nine months ago, Brent joined Sea Island as a maintenance technician. His exemplary performance earned him the Enriching Lives award and the Employee of the Month accolade. Brent’s accomplishments reflect his resilience and the profound impact of the Saved by Grace program.

Be someone’s answered prayer.

Saved by Grace is currently seeking a new, permanent building for their residential work program. With 100% private funding, they have a contract pending on a decommissioned church on HWY 303. A zoning change is required by the County Commission, which the Mainland Planning Commission already approved.
